As I mentioned in the previous photo/set of instructions, you scrape the blade across the cut and the blood will collect on the knife. If you didn't understand, this is what I meant. The knife is now your pallet. The knife isn't sharp enough that the brush is going to be cut, but I do recommend getting a high quality brush so that none of the hairs end up inside of you (I use Games Workshop brushes, they're expensive but the best quality, made from boar hair, I think, and all hand made in England, which is a nice alternative from China). Blood is now ready to be used on the paper. Paint away(or is that bleed away...?)!
