Continuing with my themes from my folio, even though I've handed it in there were a few things I didn't get around to looking at so I might continue in this vein of work for a little while longer.
Experimenting with contrasts between levels of charcoal and blood. Obviously this is just the blood with ink border and no charcoal. I've used the same stippling idea as the eye too.
Continuing with ideas of rights abuse, capitalism, corporate greed, etc, etc.
Idea that liberty and freedom is dying. New terrorism laws are actually rights violations, "it's for the greater good" type stuff that I disapprove of.

We live as cattle our entire lives. We are born into a crowded, sterile, doomed world, a life fulfilled only by existence, while we wait to be called up to the meat trough.
In one breath, people are saying that Bush didn't do enough to stop the terrorist attacks, and in the next, they're saying what he did do is wrong...so what was he supposed to do? Bear in mind what kind of people we're fighting; these aren't the kind of enemy who wears a uniform and fights out in the open and by the rules, so we can't use that standard in our fight against them.

My ability is a value that must be earned, and I don't recognize anyone's "need" as a claim on my life.
I wasn't one of the people saying that he didn't do enough.
To us, they're terrorists. To them, they're freedom fighters. I can respect fighting for your beliefs. My views on the war are that we should leave them alone. It's action-reaction type stuff and I feel like there are better ways.

Yeah, that's what I believe. I make a point to at least approach an issue with an open mind, to look at both sides of the story. Have you ever considered the viewpoint of the Islamists? They wouldn't become martyrs if they didn't believe that their sacrifice was for the improvement of their people. While I may be an Australian, I do not support the war, I think it best if we just stay out of the Middle East. We went in there, saying that they had weapons of mass destruction, they had none! But still, we're there, that is what I think is wrong.
That link is propaganda, I decide what I want to believe in, not what I'm told (though you can argue I can only believe by what I know, but that's too complicated for here IMO). I advise you to do the same, think about it from their viewpoint.

I wish that I could call them debates, sadly they seem to lack the integrity. Debate's don't usually boil down to disjointed insults.
On this topic, it's hard to prove that others are wrong when it's an issue like: "bleeding is unhealthy" because they're right. I'd love to have a intellectual debate over my blood work, though it must be accepted that regardless of the outcome I will be continuing my work.
